Tom O'Mahony - CEO
Tom O'Mahony was appointed CEO of Origin Enterprises upon its creation in October 2006. Prior to this Tom held the role of Chief Operations Officer of IAWS Group, plc, where his responsibility encompassed the total IAWS business covering both Food and Agribusiness. He played a key management role at Group level in acquisitions, disposals, business integration and financial control. He held financial and operational management positions across IAWS Group, plc since joining the Group in 1985 and was been actively involved in the repositioning of IAWS Group, plc over the last eleven years.
Peadar Kearney - Head of Food
Peadar Kearney is head of the Origin Enterprises food portfolio and has over 20 years experience in the food industry. He joined IAWS Group, plc in 1996 and as Managing Director of Shamrock foods since 2000 has overseen the successful growth and development of the business including the successful integration of Roma Foods.
Liam Larkin - Head of Agri Inputs
Liam Larkin brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Agri Inputs division within Origin Enterprises. He has over 25 years experience in Irish / UK agri business having initially joined IAWS Group, plc as technical manager of the Agro Chemical division. Liam was formerly Managing Director of Goulding Chemicals, head of our UK / Irish fertiliser businesses and now is head of the Agri Inputs division.
Declan Giblin - Head of Corporate Development
Declan Giblin is Executive Chairman of the Masstock Group of businesses and Head of Corporate Development within Origin. Declan led the construction of the Masstock Group in the UK and Poland over the last twenty years, leading an MBO of the business in 1997. This was a process that involved some thirty acquisitions taking the business from a £10 million turnover to the current £250 million. Prior to his involvement in the UK he was involved in the development of agri-business operations in the US, Australia, Zambia and Thailand.
Tom Tynan - Head of Marine Proteins
Tom Tynan joined IAWS Group, plc in 1997 initially as executive assistant to the Group Managing Director and more recently as commercial director of the Agri Inputs and Marine Proteins & Oils business. Prior to joining IAWS Group, plc, Tom was special advisor to the then Minister for Agriculture Ivan Yates TD from 1994 to 1997. He has also worked in an executive policy capacity for the Dairy Section of the Irish Farmers Association for five years.
Brendan Fitzgerald - Finance Director
Brendan Fitzgerald joined Origin in November 2006 as Finance Director. A former Director with NCB Corporate Finance he has held senior financial positions with Greencore Group plc and Waterford Foods Plc. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen.
John Butler - Property
John Butler is focused on developing the wider property interests of Origin Enterprises. He previously was a Director in Davy Corporate Finance, Managing Director of NCB Corporate Finance and Director of Financial Services to ICOS where he was involved in many restructuring initiatives.
